Armor Holdings, Inc. -- Company History

Armor Holdings was founded in 1969 as American Body Armor and Equipment, Inc. It was primarily a manufacturer of armored products such as ballistic resistant vests and tactical armor. In August 1985 the company was acquired by Unifast Industries, Inc., for $1.7 million.
